Tell Congress to Protect Your Right to Know: Oppose the DARK Act.

Don’t you want to know if your food is genetically modified? They do in Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, and Brazil. 

The DARK ACT (Deny Americans the Right-to-Know) , introduced by Rep. Pompeo (R-Kansas) as the so-called “Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act” (HR 4432), would ensure no labeling of GMO ingredients, and deny individual states the right to pass meaningful mandatory GE labeling bills. Monsanto, the Grocery Manufacturer’s Association and other big food interests are behind this bill.  HR 4432 is up for a hearing on Dec. 10, 2014, and there will be buses of people from all over the country filling the hearing room and halls of Congress to protest this bill and to support GMO labeling.
