DENTAL
If you have silver fillings (mercury amalgams), see a dentist certified in biological/holistic dentistry only for removal. Assess periodontal disease. Do not chelate or detoxify with amalgams in your mouth. Assess root canals for infections, oral dysbiosis, osteonecrosis. Oral health has a profound effect on immune system and ALS.
DIET
There is no “one size fits all” diet or nutrition supplementation plan for pALS, because it must be tailored to the individual based on medical, environmental, biochemical, genetic, and other factors. These are generally helpful guidelines:
Identify allergenic foods and avoid them.
Avoid foods that give you indigestion, fatigue, pain, or other negative symptoms. Get rid of added sugar in your diet, and read labels on food packages. Get rid of fast food, processed foods, and junk foods.
Avoid Genetically Modified (GMO) foods.
Avoid dairy foods, and can substitute coconut milk and homemade almond milk and other nut milks. Avoid gluten in wheat, rye, barley and other ingredients that contain gluten such as soy sauce and other prepared foods.
Eat lots of organic vegetables and fruits (red/purple, orange/yellow, green), but more vegetables than fruits. Avoid dried fruit and straight fruit juice.
Learn how to juice veggies and fruit.
Make daily protein smoothies from vegetarian proteins.
Eggs, chicken, beef, lamb, bison, and pork only if organic. Broths are nutritious. Fish only from wild caught Alaskan salmon (not Atlantic or Pacific), not farmed. Small fish (anchovies, herring, sardines) ok.
Healthy Fats are from avocados, nuts, olives, olive oil, coconut, coconut oil, and grass-fed ghee, butter

I met Mark and McFinn at the 2019 Healing ALS Conference. They did their own research and consulted with various practitioners to heal ALS.
Mark went from not walking, talking, eating, or breathing on his own to being free of a wheelchair, feeding tube, and ventilator.
McFinn could only move his head and 2 fingers, but was still eating and breathing on his own.
